Have been reading the posts about adding fish oil,cottage cheese,ect to the dog food. How many days a week do you add this extra stuff?

Would some of you please tell me how often you wash your dogs.I have heard that too often is bad for their coat. :confused:

Hi..I was wondering if someone can tell be the difference between a breed quality / pet quality Newf.

Can someone please tell me what direction the hair on the legs are brushed?When I get to the heel of my dogs I am not sure if I brush down or out. Also from the elbow to the foot? I have been brushing out then down but the hair does not seem to want to lay nicely. Thank you :confused:

All of my dogs have their good citizenship awards and its made life so much easier with three Newfs..however with summer..comes the crazies. I blame my husband of 33 yrs. for that..he started giving them ice cubes when they were pups..Now when the temps. soar above 90..my three wonderfully...

This is a photo taken a few years ago. The pup is Bearyn..the other Matea Osa. My husband and I rescued Bearyn from a puppy mill.He is now three years old and is a wonderful dog.He does not have the large flews that my other male has..any one else have a male with smaller flews? Rose
