Don't know if somebody here wondered what happened to Smilla...we moved from Australia to France and Smilla survived her long journey well and is still as sweet as she was before. So here some French photos: This is the driveway to our rental place.

Yeah, it is Smilla's birthday today (13th) and she had a nice walk and a super birthday cake! She has grown so much, can't believe that she was once a tiny puppy! This was taken April last year: And these today at her 1. Birthday: waiting for the OK Not much left... Birthday walk...

Her first heat just started and so far no problems at all, just a few spots here and there, but easy to clean. Unfortunately no walks anymore - we live in a small village and every second house has at least one dog. But we can manage that and have instead supervised playtime in the yard.

We had some days of heavy rain (non-stop) about two weeks ago, so apart from going for "wet walks" (Smilla loved it), we stayed inside with her. I really need some ideas for games that we can play inside, just in case...
