R.I.P. Mr. Winston. It was an honour and a privilige to have had you in my life for 12 years. So many special memories.

Tomorrow my special old treasure Mr Winston will be 11 years and one month old. After 2 TPLO surgeries in his younger life his legs are not so good these days and his walks are much shorter. Hoping for a lot more time with this precious boy.

I am so sad to see so many recent losses. Adam, Sam, Ben, Gitche and Bartlett all within a week. I pass on my sincere condolences to all of you and so understand you pain. The loss of these special dogs leaves a huge hole in you life and your heart and I feel for each and everyone of you.

Winston was ten years young yesterday. He will be going to the sea in the morning to have a celebration swim. Growing old too fast.

Today Winston had surgery for a draining facial abcess which turned out to be an infected tooth root which had spread to the jaw bone. Osteomyelitis with one tooth extracted. Bless this boy he is not quite ten has had cruciate surgery on both rear legs and holds a special place in my heart. He...

How do you tell the difference between staph infection and hypothyroid when you have been battling skin problems for 2 years and you have black patches of skin on the poor boys groin and excessive shedding? If he has a thyroid test does he need to be starved first? Thanks in advance. Janet
