Just wondering if you still wanted to come out tomorrow. We taking the dogs swimming from about 9:30 to noonish. I'll probably be home by 12:30 at the latest. Just let me know!
Also, I was reading about using the ice bag. I'm not sure if you're still needing to ice her knee, but when Maddie had her surgery, I don't know why but I was putting ice in a towel and then putting it on her. It dawned on me that I had an ice bag, so I tried to use it, and she freeked out! Wouldn't let me get near her. So I had to go back to using the towel. I'm not sure what was so horrible about the ice bag, but she Hated it!

The only reason I would suggest the crate would be to keep you closer to her. I felt it was important that Lucky be as close to me and as much in the center of things as I could safely do it. Mila might feel more isolated in the laundry room. If the floors are not slick she could probably walk that distance okay. just be sure to use the sling when she goes outside to potty...and leash of course. and no steps. So glad you have good inlaws! I think if she is near/with you or your inlaws most of the time she will be happier. Isolated confinement will be much harder on her. Good luck. Holler if you have any more questions. Oh yeah, Lucky has had no more problems. Of course, she's 12 and a half now, older than dirt, but knee is good.
