Reno, with Vic handling him, got his WRD at Codorus State Park on Saturday at CNC's water test. We had our fingers and paws crossed as it was a beautiful day but very windy with little waves coming onto the beach...and sweating a little with the underwater retrieve. It was a nice birthday...

Just getting around to posting now... Reno got his wd on Saturday at Penn Ohio's water test! Doc even 'cheered' his brother on. The judges were great and it was fun meeting everyone. All of the newfs and their handlers did an outstanding job! Candi

This weekend in Canfield on Friday, Vic & Reno titled in rally novice A by getting their 3rd leg with a score of 96 and a 3rd place. On Saturday, they scored a 95 and took a 4th. The Saturday showing didn't really matter since they had already titled Friday. On Sunday, Reno got his CGC! We...

Not sure if I should have posted this in the showplace or obedience...Two weekends ago Vic & Reno entered their first rally competition. It actually turned out to be a total disaster. Looking back now, it was pretty comical. Reno acted as though he had never heard the words 'sit' 'heel'...

Vic & I have thought about getting involved in rescue some day. We happened in to this pretty unexpected this week. A friend of ours knew we had a Newf and her son's girlfriend had gotten a Newf that she 'rescued' from a family who hadn't taken care of him and who was left to run unsupervised...

Does anyone have any info. about where I can find a nice silhouette of a Newfie that can be used for a sign. I didn't know if there were any good websites out there. I looked a little bit, but didn't find anything that I really liked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Candi
