I always thought there was a certain irony at work on that show: They were always teased with the possibility of the bizarre and paranormal, only to discover nothing but artifice and fraud. It must have gotten terribly disappointing, searching for magic, almost managing to believe time and again, only to be finally confronted by a guy in the mask. And yet, through all of this, no one ever seemed to notice that the DOG is TALKING. - MerrickM
