As I am out walking Cooper a lot these days I am learning that most of my neighbors neglect their dogs!! We live in a small subdivision of 27 homes, each has 4 acres. Most people have dogs but I NEVER see anyone walking them. I think they figure their back yard is big enough they don't need too...

Our little Cooper is not little anymore!! I haven't weighed him in about 2 weeks but he must be about 60-65# and is 5 months and 1 week old today. He's doing really good with his obedience...except when he's hyper and then he needs to be watched real close to not jump on the kiddos and tip them...

For the first 3 weeks or so, Cooper slept in his crate in our bedroom as planned and he did great. Sleeping thru the night untill about 5:30am when I would get up with him and go potty ouside. But, over the last 4-5 nights though, he has wimpered more and not settled down in his crate, panting...

So, we took Cooper to meet our Vet last week, except our vet was on vacation, so we saw a new person. She asked if we planned to have him neutered and I said yes, but that we would wait untill he was 12-18 months due to the apparent health benefits to waiting that I spoke to the breeder...
